WHO IS PSALMIST?

Obimuyiwa Gabriel Ayodeji popularly known as Psalmist by his fans. Psalmist is a multi-talented Nigerian Gospel musician, a teacher of the word, an artist, an instrumentalist, a scholar, just to mention a few.

Psalmist, a devout Christian, hails from Ijebu North L.G. of Ogun state was born on 25th February in Lagos state. 

He started his education at Success International School (now Success Model College).Alagbole, Ifo Local Government, Ogun State, and later proceeded to Community High School, Ibafo, Obafemi Owode Local Governemnt, Ibafo for his secondary education.

Due to his love for education, he later bagged a NCE degree in Economics/Social Studies  from Yewa Central College of Education, Adehun, Abeokuta in 2012. He is presently pursuing a Bsc. in Economics Education from Nigeria’s prestigious University of Ilorin.

He started his musical career on 23rd of July, 2007 due to His divine call to music. The band "Psalmist Glorious Voices" was established same year, officially launched on the 20th day of November, 2010.

What he tagged "Psalmist Music" is a pure and undiluted gospel, not different from the motto of this band "....preaching the gospel to the masses" coupled with the mission Acts 1:8.

He has released just only one Album so far: Title: "Covenant" with four tracks
